Malla Roja Sulochanamma

Inspired by her family's legacy of giving — which includes donating land for a school building in Dimilada and giving land to enable poor families to build homes — Malla Roja Sulochanamma grew up understanding that true service transforms entire communities.
After her marriage she moved to Buravelli, where she observed that many people lacked access to formal banking and had no knowledge of savings. She worked tirelessly to bring a bank to Buravelli and personally facilitated the opening of bank accounts for 3,000 to 4,000 people.
She also guided many people on how to save wisely, encouraging investment in LIC policies and Fixed Deposits — empowering families to build financial security for the first time.
